# Logging

When troubleshooting the appliance you will likely need to reference logs. These are found in the following folder:

* `/data/exavault/logs/`

Customers on versions prior to v18.x may see logs in one of these folders as well:

* `/data/smartfile/logs/`
* `/data/veristack/logs/`
