# Premium Features

Premium plans add support and administrative capabilities to ExaVault. Each feature is configured in the part of ExaVault that owns its behavior; this page identifies the plan distinction and links to the authoritative instructions.

## Email and Phone Support

Premium plans include access to the ExaVault support team by email and phone. The team answers questions and helps resolve problems with your ExaVault installation.

## Automatic Updates

Automatic Updates keep the ExaVault software and underlying Linux operating system current without requiring a replacement virtual-machine image. Administrators can schedule updates or apply one on demand through the Appliance Manager. Applying an update restarts the ExaVault application stack.

## Single Sign-On and SCIM

Premium plans support SAML single sign-on and SCIM provisioning. SAML authenticates users for web access, while SCIM creates and maintains user and group records.

## Automatic SSL Certificate Management

Premium plans can use automatic SSL certificate management. ExaVault obtains and renews a publicly trusted certificate for the appliance hostname through Let's Encrypt.

## Two-Factor Authentication

Premium plans can require [Two-Factor Authentication](/authentication-and-identity/two-factor-authentication-2fa.md) for password-based web sign-in. Supported methods include an authenticator app, SMS through a customer-managed Twilio account, and email verification.

## Syslog Export

Premium plans can send Activity records to an external Syslog collector for ingestion by a security information and event management system or another logging platform.
